So what do the Bulls do in regards to getting a shooter if they somehow land LeBron? Who is out there for the money they have left?

John Paxson.

Phoenix has 3 of the top 10 and 5 of the top 27 in 3P%, that is amazing.

Well, the team was built by Steve Kerr.

Hmmm...shouldn't the Bulls be better at 3P% with Paxson driving the ship then?

Anybody in the draft that fills the role as sharpshooter? Or how about Ray Allen?

I want Cal to take the Bulls job just to watch the UK meltdown. Ideally they would hire Calipari but miss out on LeBron which is probably unlikely.

That's what I'm asking. I don't really follow college sports at all, so who fills that roll in the draft that the Bulls have a shot at?

Or how about Ray Allen?

How much is he likely going to cost? Is he what the Bulls actually need given how devoid they are of shooters? I don't follow the Celtics that closely, so how is he holding up at 34? Last night was impressive, but is he consistently going out there as a weapon or is he just pulling big games out of his ass from time time or inconsistent due to age/injury?

His numbers for this year, are pretty much identical to what they have been for the last 2 years. His 3 point % was down a little, but he still hit 36% of them. He also logged 35 mins a game for the Celts, which I doubt he'd have to do with the Bulls. He also played in all but 2 games so injuries havent been a factor yet. I also have no idea how much money he'd cost at this point.

He may also just want one more shot at a championship at his age, which could mean he'd settle for less money. Shooting is a skill that ages pretty well, and he'd be a huge boost if he could give the Bulls 25-30 decent minutes a night. If this LeBron thing actually happens, I'd think Allen would certainly think about coming to Chicago.

I think mock lineups are ridiculous most of the time, but I can't help myself...

PG- Rose

SG- Allen

SF- LeBron

PF- Gibson (or even Deng, depending on matchups)

C- Noah

That team wins 60 games sleepwalking.

James Anderson, Xavier Henry and Gordon Hayward are all projected around that range. All between 6'6-6'8 and can be good-very good shooters.

Xavier Henry pronounces his name Zahv-E-A. You don't want anything to do with that. On the bright side, he only had 1 year under Bill Self, so he might still have a productive NBA career.

Already getting the radio callers saying they don't want LeBron :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

Reminds me of a caller a few weeks back that was talking about how he didn't like/want Lebron because he's too immature.

i don't see how any team can hope to guard lebron AND rose while simultaneously covering a shooter like ray allen.

allen would put up the best numbers of his career without even having to dribble all year long.

he wouldn't, but that's no reason not to sign lebron.

That was exactly how that argument went. B&B ripped the guy, saying Lebron is more mature at this point in his career than MJ was...and arguably is more mature now than MJ is now.

People are blinded by the 6 titles, that they mistakenly give all the credit for to Jordan and have re-created his entire story such that he was something he wasn't. I get it, Chicago is a loser sports town, and everyone wants to cling to whatever they can, but come on, the league hated Jordan for the way he acted when he was Lebron's age.

those guys sure do love lebron. but it's just meatball to say you wouldn't want lebron because of immaturity.

physically, he's way more mature. off the court, he may be more well-balanced, but on the court, there's no comparison.

i think you're just upset that you missed the boat. all you had to do was wait a few years, but you had to be impatient.
