How did Fuku only end up at 2nd on that play?

Not paying attention apparently. Didn't end up mattering.

So maybe we can start pitching around that 8th hitter with 1st base open. I know everyone gets a hard on when opposing pitchers lead off an inning but preventing runs are kind of better.

Come on Dempster. But again the offense is ridiculous. First and second no outs with 3-4-5 coming up and no one else can get on base. It would be nice to see the offense do something against a team not named the Brewers.

Way to go Theriot. Why did Kennedy cut off the throw to the plate though?

Nice patience Fukudome. Heaven forbid you make a young pitcher work a little harder and possibly get himself in more trouble.

Umm you realize 2 runs in 2 innings is a pretty damn good pace right?

They were 0 for 8 last night with runners in scoring position and they haven't shown any consistency against anyone other than the Brewers. I guess I expect more from the middle of the line-up.

So he never has to take a pitch again. Got it.

Why? The 3-4 guys have been garbage most of the year.
