This has got to be the [expletive] dumbest thing I've seen this organization do.

Every time I think it the organization has hit rock bottom, they manage to find another hole to fall into. Easily the worst decision I've ever seen - 14 games into the season.

 

Arguably every day is a new rock bottom for the Cubs until they win a championship since every day that passes they lengthen the longest championship drought in the history of professional sports. It's just some days they manage to hit a lower rock bottom than other days.

Living in Kansas City I don't get to hear much Cub's talk on the radio. Today the Royals pen blew yet another game, they've been as bad as the cubs, and one of the guys down here on his show said hey at least we aren't being [expletive] like the Cubs and sticking Greinke in the bullpen to fix a small part of the problem. It doesn't get any worse than this folks. Gorzelanny hasn't done anything to deserve a permanent spot in the rotation. The chances of one of him or Silva not completely falling apart this year is about zero. Hopefully someone is explaining to Ricketts how stupid this kind of move is and he'll end up firing both Lou and Hendry ASAP.
