Not gaining on the Flyers at all that period is a major loss for the Hawks. They can still tie it but its a lot less likely.

Flyers definitely won that period. Seriously Toews, it's time for you to show up this series. I've given up on Buff but Toews has been a real disappointment tonight.

I know I've missed all the regular season this year, and his previous seasons - and yes he had that rediculously long 'at least 1 point scored, per game, in the playoffs' run... but Toews hasn't shown me anything this series (yet). I know nothing about him, really, so can't or won't label him a 'choker', but boy does he need to really work to start earning the C he wears on his shirt, at least when the lights are on and everyone's watching.

 

And on that matter, Byfuglien is an absolute no-show after pretty much being "the man" at the end of the Canucks' series and all of the WCFs.

Toews isn't finishing and he's not doing well against one of the top defensemen in the league. His linemates are giving him little to know help either. I don't know if you should call it a choke, but that's how it'll be remembered.
