This is coming down ore to luck than anything, I'm thinking... just a bit ago, the Hawks took a shot, and it came off Leighton to a waiting Flyer for an easy clearance. If had of been reversed, a Flyer would have been nearby for a great putback attempt.

You can't equally weight a team that is tied 2-2 in the championship final with the vast majority of those other 62.

 

This isn't nearly as bad as Rex going into full [expletive] mode in the Super Bowl either.

 

2-2 or not, this team is falling apart and facing a bad matchup problem. It's theoretically possible they might get lucky and steal two games they don't deserve, but it's not going to happen.

Bad penalties coming at a quick pace...I would have thought the pressure to score a goal would be greater than trying to do this crap.

Its amazing all the shots PHI is taking after whistles, but absolutely no action taken to curb it by the refs.

I'd argue that Leighton has outplayed Niemi since Game 1. I'm starting to think he is for real because he's making decent saves. Part of it is the Philly defense which is refusing to let the Hawks get almost any legit good looks, but Leighton has gotten a piece of almost everything eldr.
