I can't imagine the reffing would be more biased than it was in game 1, and we won that one.

 

I'm not marking anything as a loss until the final horn sounds.

I didn't even realize this was a Friday thing until a few days ago. Just assumed it was tomorrow. And it is that season in St. Louis. Everyone wants to get married in April and May before it gets insanely hot.

Never mind, I was thinking of Koharski.

 

Fans of every team in the league have an irrational hate for Koharski and McCreary. I suppose some of it for Hawks fans goes back to the widely held view that the league held some grudge against Dollar Bill and the refs took it out on them. Of course there was nothing to back that up, but old school Hawks fans were convinced.

I will miss both games this weekend while at the Cubs-Rangers games. I would love it if the next game I watched on TV was Game 1 of the Finals.

Seriously. I can't believe I'm missing tonight's game, but I will be planted in front of the TV on Sunday afternoon. Nightmare scenario is during the finals though -- we'll be in Florida for most of the first week of June. There better be bars around Sarasota with Versus.

I was doing some rough math the other day. Assuming both series go 6 games, which might be a stretch at this point, that would mean the CFs would end about May 27. I think a few days off in between, so starting about Memorial Day? So we're talking about basically the first two weeks of June.
