Thank God the SS interfered. Riot was going to be out by a mile. Good to see a Fukublast.

I may be giving Theriot too much benefit of the doubt (actually, I definitely am), but it seemed like he might've known Cabrera was there and decided to try to get a free base.

I agree with this. My guess is that is how the umpire saw it also.

Once Cabrera was there he definitely knew he wasn't going, but I think if he committed to it and took off without Cabrera there, it would've been a close play at 3rd.

I agree with this.

 

I doubt it. That would be super duper quick thinking to make that attempt spur of the moment like that.

I just saw a jersey with Cairo. Was that Miguel Cairo? Is he seriously still playing?
