He's talking about Derrek Lee dancing around 1st base rather than letting our best hitter work.

No. They get picked off of 1st base with their best hitter at the plate. And with someone who shouldn't even be leaning towards 2nd base, no less.

Two things to learn from today: Chris Dickerson always knocks the cover off the ball, and Fontenot is the best defensive 2nd baseman in history.

Francisco has improved his OPS at each successive level, from Rookie league to the Reds. That's fascinating.

He certainly looks like he has some talent. But I don't see him getting regular starts anytime soon, unless there is a injury/trade, with Votto and Rolen on the ML roster and Alonso in the minors.

aside from the season where lee forgot how to hit the ball hard in the air, he's been much better
