Sounds good. I only recorded it because it was the featured HD game of that particular part of the day. My cable company still only has one HD EI channel. I don't believe we have WGN on HD yet, either.

Not a problem ... just off to a shaky start. Lou has all it takes to inspire and guide this team to at least 50 or 60 wins this season.

Agreed. I had friends getting worked up over their teams losing yesterday. It's the first game of the season. There's still 161 to go. Chill out.

 

is it okay to get worked up that we have someone still on the roster who still needs development time on the active 25 man roster and is on the roster simply because of the size of his contract?

 

am i upset we lost, yes. but i would be upset if it was a 2-1 loss. z being z on opening day was expected. but what i am most mad about was when the game was still in reach at 8-5 spellcheck gives up, what 4 earned runs, one after he was pulled? there was plenty of bad luck in that game yes, but the things that had nothing to do with luck, like the ability to throw strikes consistantly, that makes me mad. my fear is that when lilly comes back, russell gets sent back down.

Well, for me it really sucked. Drove 7 hours to Atlanta on Easter Sunday. It was a beautiful day and I had a seat on the second row behind the Cubs dugout. Byrd made it appear as if it might be our afternoon, then it happened. Made for a long drive home.
