I'm open to the idea, but I've got my hands full with other things at the moment.

 

There IS a flash button in the editor, though I haven't tried it to see what it can do.

I would be for it but would support a strong mod of it. Someone post something inappropriate they get a temp ban automatically. No warnings when it comes to videos.

there should be a simple button (like "spoiler") that says "youtube". You then just paste the URL for the video. I'm a mod on another phpbb3 site and we have it

I'm against it. Or at the very least, I'd like there to be an option to disable it as there is with avatars and signatures. Streaming video sites are blocked where I work, and attempts to hit them are tracked. Basically if we implemented embedded video, I'd not be able to access NSBB from work during the day.

 

Also, if we were to add this, I'd want to restrict it to a few forums. No vids in the game threads for example,

I think embedded videos would be a pretty bad idea. Is there a compelling reason why a link isn't good enough?
