Remember how good a lot of us thought McCamey, Tis and Davis would be two years ago? Imagine if Tisdale ended up as good as Leuer, McCamey as good as Battle or Jordan and Davis was as good as Johnson?

McCamey kept getting better until January of this year, and then he became the worst player in the country.

I think, no matter who coaches UI next year, they should fire their S&C coach. They just do not look as physically strong as a lot of top teams to me. There are a couple of guys (Leonard and McCamey) who look like they spend time in a weight room, but for the most part, I think UI's S&C needs work.

I remember how excited I was to see Stan Simpson in the orange and blue

I meant more the seniors leaving. Going back to the crazies that wanted Dee gone.

I'm to the point where I believe Illinois would be a better team had McCamey stayed in the draft and been drafted in the second round.

I said it after the Indiana game, treat the rest of the season like non-contending baseball teams treat September -- play the kids.

You don't have to play Head and Griffey 20 minutes, but you might as well give them some experience for next year. I think regardless what tournament we're in it's likely one and done.
