This team just isn't very good. If they're fortunate to make the dance, they'll be one and done.

Most of us saw this pretty early on. We should have tried to develop the young kids more. He has lately, wish he would have all year.

I'm extremely nervous about tonight's game. I don't know what the line is, but I would take Illinois I'm sure. The Illini are going to be hungry for a big time resume builder. It's going to be close.

We haven't won two games in a row since january. Won't happen here.

 

I knew this was going to happen. It's historically about time for the big Purdue let down. I'm sure we'll see plenty of Illini fans teeing off on the Purdue fans after this game. :banghead:

Because Purdue was down 13 and all the momentum was with Illinois. Blue and orange jerseys were running circles around gold and black ones, the Illini were sinking every shot, and Purdue simply wasn't rebounding. It felt like a loss. I'm happy it wasn't.

Johnson and Moore! Most wins by any two Boilermakers EVER. Undefeated at Mackey for the first time in my lifetime! I don't know how they'll do Saturday, or in either tournament, but I'm a proud alum today. Boiler the [expletive] UP!

On another note, can we finally be done with hearing about Alabama as an at-large candidate?

That was brutal. I am wondering how the hell Kansas missed on the good Releford though?

I may have to if it keeps working. Honestly though, I had visions of what happened in the first half of the first half all day leading up to the game.

Byrd was huge tonight. LewJack as a Senior PG next year. Hummel coming back. Listening to the Senior night presentation streaming on the web. Painter saying all the right things. Purdue isn't going away.

If Hummel comes back close you will be ok next year. After that tho it could be rough a bit.

Probably not.

 

Also it really does appear as if Baylor never practices.

i think there was talk he didn't like how travis was riding bench. I still think Travis will be a solid player though. He does nice things on the court when he gets time.

Mizzou's road games have brought me a level of frustration I didn't quite think was possible. I'm really glad there won't be any more until next season.

mizzou loses to nebraska. mizzou loses at home against kansas. mizzou loses in first round to iowa state. do they make the tournament?

Nobody hit the bonus in the first half? Illinois shot almost 60% from the floor. Purdue is lucky to be in this game. Oh, and Brandon Paul is a flopping bitch.

That's laughable. Forget the Chris Kramer era? If so D.J. Byrd serves as a pretty good reminder.

 

Paul runs directly into planted defenders at full speed.
