it absolutely cannot get any worse than this. lowest point of the season. even if lose the rest of our games by double figures it will not get worse than this right here.

you can't go any lower than rock bottom. this is the game that costs us a tourney bid, this is rock bottom.

Purdue finally started making some shots. It would be nice if we had the dozen points we've missed on bunny shots so far.

 

is that good enough for you?

 

Yeah, you guys just missed about five bunny shots in a row. Jesus christ. The terrible body language after the missed shots should be concerning. No way you're out of this game yet though. Your guys can shoot the lights out if you get on a streak.

When you can't shoot, you can't rebound and you turn the ball over it's hard to win. Also, it's pretty obvious that when McCamey and Richmond don't play well we need like four or five other guys playing well.

Illinois will make an inspired hire like Tommy Amaker

Our last 3 hires, two were great. So yeah of course we will hire poorly.

 

Kruger coaches at UNLV (LAS VEGAS!) and everyone knows Bill Self is a big cheater. Illinois will hire a distinguished leader of men type.

I'm to the point where I want us to lose. Anything to speed up Weber's exit.

 

I don't know why you think Weber will be fired no matter what the end of the season record is. Just as he is stupidly loyal to his seniors, Guenther is stupidly loyal to Zook and Weber. Best case is Guenther makes him hire new assistants. I would hope that Weber might resign but he would be giving up too much money.
