This K-State/Baylor game is basketball purgatory. Less than 80 points combined and there's less than 10 minutes left in the game. Plus it looks like they have O'Neill and Higgins on the same crew.

I didn't think we were going to win at Columbus, but after Saturday night I expected it to be a 5-10 point game all night. Yikes! Some revenge against Minny would be nice this weekend, but we haven't played well against any 'big' team yet.

I never watch anything outside of Purdue basketball up until the Big Ten Tourney. Has Sullinger been getting away with the elbow hook all year? He did it twice to Johnson last night and got and-one both times.

Don't you have some more bitching to do about Jared Sullinger? Or about all the other games you lost due to referees or godless chuckers, but certainly never anything that was Illinois's fault?

Yeah, they finally declared him ineligible and Mizzou lost their appeal. The Sun Belt will take partial qualifiers, and the Big 12 won't, so he decided to go there where it's an hour from home. An annoying end to the whole ordeal, but honestly I'm just glad that it's over. Hopefully they can land Porter and McLemore to help compensate.
