But seriously, you need to let go of this denial of somebody taking Rose's test for him.

We've been through this, there is no reason to believe he took the test.

I have no idea if he took the test or not. Don't care really. The fact that he wasn't smart enough to pass an SAT has no effect on how much fun I had during that 2008 season. But to just assume that Cal masterminded the whole thing is a little bit of a stretch.

Rose still denies someone took his test by the way

Why say this then? This combined with Nick's previous arguing that it made perfect sense for Rose to take the test in Detroit says he believes him.

Is there anyone on the planet that thinks one iota less of Marcus Camby and Derrick Rose for those supposedly egregious violations?

I'm sure a lot of people do.

Seriously, I'm sure a ton of people do. Really, the system is the problem, but plenty of people don't see it that way and want to think of college sports in some sort of pure form that it really isn't.

I've forgotten all the facts now but my point back then was the NCAA cleard Rose to play before the season started. To come back a year and a half later and declare him ineligible was wrong and dumb. And there has been zero evidence that Calipari orchestrated the whole thing.

to imagine that there is no connection between cal and the problems he'd had at his past schools is a bit more of a stretch.

no one is trying to make the argument that calipari is not a college coach, as the only argument that his apologists seem to have is that he is one. the real claim here is that he is a cheating scumbag that either has boosters and other friends of the program pay his players or move mountains of exams and grades to get them in and probably both.

he's left penalizations and accusations in his wake, prefers the company of shady agents and lawyers and parents of recruits and whatever it is that worldwide wes claims to do and leaps from job to job just as penalties are coming down. all this while never getting to a final four. cal is scum, the fact that he is a collegiate head coach means nothing.

All that job leaping and he's coached at 3 schools in 23 years. I guess coach K is a scumbag too because Corey Maggette was being paid while playing at Duke? There are so many of these types of instances that your hatred of just Calipari is laughable.

again, you're making the argument that calipari is a collegiate head coach. like i said, that means nothing. calipari is scumbag regardless of coach k.

.

correction, he's coached 18 seasons at 3 schools, 2 of those schools he left on probation, working on a 3rd. still, all those amazing seasons and no final fours. he's not only a scumbag, he's an overrated scumbag.

I hate your argument. Calipari is no choir boy, but the stuff Cal is getting accused of goes on everywhere. It's like hating Tiger and only Tiger because he cheated on his wife. 90% of athletes are cheating. Sorry for the weak analogy, it's all I could come up with.

So what, in your opinion is causing Cal's teams to keep getting busted, while others get off free?

First, it's not like Calipari coached teams are constantly getting busted. The two violations were 12 years apart. And like i mentioned earlier, other teams are getting caught. Kansas just came off probation and several big name schools are on probation currently.

are there any other coaches that have had a final four at two different schools vacated?

i can think of one other coach that has had big problems at two different schools. and, well, let's just say that cal is in good company.

How many teams have had wins taken away over the past 20 years? How many were coached by Cal?

Who gives a s**t about vacated wins. It's so meaningless. The picking and choosing of who the NCAA goes after makes no sense to me.

yeah, i guess you're right. national championships mean nothing the second after they're won.

All I wanted was for you to admit that you think the NCAA is picking on poor ol Cal

I'd be willing to bet that if Chalmers would've missed that three, those wins wouldn't have been taken away. Go to hell Mario Chalmers by the way.
