We have very different standards for both the word "epic" and the word "brawl".

As far as I can tell, our views on the word "Cuban" do align.

I think a batter chasing a pitcher with a bat all the way into the outfield is pretty epic

and the benches clearing isn't basically termed a "brawl" these days?

You see, I told you we had different standards.

where was the 2nd baseman going right at the beginning? it looked like he was getting the hell out of dodge

Being smart. If the batter is charging out there with bat, you get out of the way. I don't know why the pitcher kept looking back instead of just booking for the nearest exit.

Maybe he knows he's not fast. I would have been looking back to see what I needed to do.

And who knows what awaits on the other side of the exit. If a player is chasing you with a bat, there's no telling what some spectators might do.

Hypothetically, i'm curious as to what would happen if the pitcher just stood on the mound and did absolutely nothing. I realize a guy is chasing you with a bat, but part of me thinks he wouldn't have the Cajones to actually take a full swing at his head or anything. I'd guess he'd sort of stick the bat out and tackle the guy.

Completely off topic, but is it just me or has the quality of Youtube gone down quite a bit the past few months. I have a great internet connection, but always have to pause a youtube video for it to play without buffering.

Worse camera work than a UFO sighting.

I only watched this once, but I assumed the guy that ran off from second was the same guy that returned with a bat to take on the batter. i could be completely off though.

I can't tell. For some reason it also seems like the guy who comes back with a bat has some kind of unusually gigantic bat.

The guy that later comes out with a bat is a gigantic bald black man, I don't think he was the 2B who went running, looks like quite the height difference.

Yes!

Very rarely can I watch a complete video without pausing it to let it load. And I have a very quick internet connection, there's no reason for it.
