One of the best best of three series I've seen... that being said, the Hogs really helped hand AZ State the series. If they play solid D, we're at worst looking at a winner take all game tomorrow. Great season and a bad draw for the Hogs to have the #1 seed in the Super Regional. Going to miss Eibner and Cox (time to start hating his guts I suppose).

Sigh. Tyler Rahmatulla, UCLA's #3 hitter and starting second baseman, is out for the rest of the season after breaking his wrist in the post-game celebration following UCLA's Super Regional win. He's probably the Bruins best hitter.

By the way, what is the point of Erin Andrews? Her contribution so far has been that Trevor Bauer is quirky and that UCLA brings a mini toilet in the dugout when they are struggling. UCLA beats Florida 11-3 for their first ever College World Series victory. They'll take on TCU in the winners bracket Monday night (thankfully Matt Purke won't be available). Florida and Florida State will play in an elimination game in the first game on Monday.

 

Tomorrow, South Carolina takes on Oklahoma and then Clemson will play overall #1 Arizona State.

So, I'm kinda new to college baseball and my Sooners are in a rain delay. Does anyone here know if NCAA uses MLB rules regarding rain delays? Also, does anyone know where I can find a GIF with the local radar?

It's not a rain delay. It's a lightning delay because there was lightning within 7 miles of the ballpark. The only rule I saw was that game 2 won't begin after 11 pm CT. If they have to, they'll suspend the OU-South Carolina game but I think they'll keep plugging away tonight for the first game.

Clemson-ASU game has been pushed to tomorrow at 10 am on ESPNU. Clemson's starter - LHP Casey Harman - was the Cubs' 29th rounder.

Florida State eliminated Florida and then UCLA beat TCU. :) Florida State plays TCU Wednesday and the winner takes on UCLA Friday.

 

Tomorrow, ASU takes on South Carolina in an elimination game. Then Oklahoma plays Clemson in the night game.
