Week 15: Bears at Ravens, rescheduled for 3:15 on Fox

JC's QB rating will end up 7.8 for the game, a new low for his career. Interestingly enough, I'll have to look this up to be sure but I think the 3 lowest QB ratings of his career have come this year.

43 and 33 are his other lows this year. He had a 32 and a 45 in 2007

OK so 3 of his 4 lowest QB ratings have come this year. Yay?

PS Does anyone know the best way to wash a hat without one of those plastic hat things without it shrinking? I am assuming if I run it in the dishwasher and let it air dry it should be ok

The media is hammering Lovie with job security questions. Lovie doesn't look comfortable breaking away from him "There is a lot of games left to play" mantra.

just throw it out. bears aren't worth it.

Trade Briggs for a pick. Go after Boldin.

The d already sucks with Briggs, and Cutler's going to wind up being the most colossal failure in Bears history if they don't get him a legit target, and quickly.

Angelo apparently denied reports that Lovie is safe for 2010.

That's something at least. Surely Jerry knows Lovie is going to take his career in Chicago down with him.

This is what you call finding a silver lining in a blowout.

What's his contract, anyway? If they won't fire Lovie because they owe him a lot of money...

I feel like that's exactly why they wouldn't fire him. The McCaskey's are cheap asses.

The implied was "will they fire Angelo instead because they don't owe him 8 figures?" But I don't have any idea what they owe him

edit: Angelo was resigned when Lovie was, but until 2013, and they don't mention his salary in the only stories I've seen so far

No they aren't. Lovie, Urlacher, Briggs, Hester, and Tommie are all highly paid. They don't lose their own stars to other teams.

Anyway, Angelo will give Lovie even less than the Vote of Confidence if he wants to fire him because he fears the alternative is his own head rolling instead

Losing star players outright through free agency in the NFL is pretty rare because of the franchise tag.

I should reword that. The McCaskey's have no desire to pay someone who isn't apart of the organization.

Jay Cutler's QB rating for the year is now 71.1, which is 23th in the league between Chad Henne (74.9) and Brady Quinn (70.6). Yes his QB rating is for the year is almost the same as Brady [expletive] Quinn's

But that means you are paying through the nose. The Bears picked up players like Tait and Muhammad too. They venture out occasionally.

I'd much rather see Angelo gone than Lovie, not that I wouldn't mind a complete clean house

Though I don't know what a GM or coach would do with this mess, this couldn't be fixed within 3 years

OH and, as usual, fire turner, now and forever
