I don't think the Michigan bust rate is any higher than other programs. Edwards isn't even really a bust either.

 

I do remember a stretch where it seemed like every Michigan skill player was crappy in the NFL (thanks Terrell and A-Train!).

I wouldn't really put A-Train in there. He did have two 1,000 yard seasons for you guys and its not like he was a top 10-15 pick or anything. Now the expectations were really high after a great rookie season and he never lived up to them but was good for a couple years.

Shannon Sharpe made a really good point about the Patriots taking out their starts last week. Someone else said it was smart to not risk injury and Sharpe mentioned how the Patriots don't have any problem keeping their starters in when they're the ones blowing the other team out and running up the score. Stupid Patriots.

All told, it was a banner passing night for Brees, who entered the game with many in the media still wondering if he belonged in the discussion with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning as the game's top quarterback.

 

who was wondering that???? he's probably having his best year; his yards/game is down from last year because their running game is improved and they're often beating teams so handily in the second half that there's no reason to pass the ball, but he's got his best completion %, by his best yards/pass, his best td %, and one of his lowest int %.

 

Dang dude, that's a lot of question marks. And having a great season is different from being the game's top quarterback. I think most people would question whether or not Brees is at the level of Manning and Brady. Brees has had some really good seasons, but Manning and Brady have been ridiculous for a decade (well Manning at least. Before the past few seasons Brady's stats weren't much better than average)
