If you had to pick today, does Tiger Woods break the record for most majors now?

seems more likely today than even yesterday. when he's divorced, he can go back to whoring and golfing with no concern for his family. he may double the record.

Does whoring around on your wife or visiting a PED doctor qualify as Majors?

Plus, it will focus him more than ever. He needs this challenge. Anytime he's been challenged, be it by a Rory Sabbatini or injury or his dad's death or whatever, he has come back and made a huge statement each time.

And that's exactly what he's going to do.

If anything this divorce is good for the rest of us because if I'm him, pretty soon here I just saw screw it, let me get back to playing golf. He tried to take time off and see if he could patch things up with Inga, it didn't work, and now he might as well go back to work.

Didn't she hear that he was taking time off from golf to be a better husband and father?

Honestly though, it doesn't say much for the marriage when you have to get an HIV test every month.

I wonder how strong that pre-nup is now.

I'd guess it's still pretty strong so long as Tiger doesn't care about a public, messy divorce. If I'm Tiger I give her half of all my earning for the years I was married to her and huge chunk of change for the kids every month. Then I go practice golf and work on recouping the money.

His public image is shot all to hell. He needs to go on Barbara Walters or Oprah and cry his ass off.

If it had been one or two or hell, maybe even three over the years, I think she might could have stayed. But she has to divorce him at this point.

Jim Norton made an interesting observation the other day on the O and A show. He imagined that Elin hearing that one girl talking about being with Tiger the night his father died probably upset her specifically because that is a day that I'm sure she remembers vividly. It's one thing if someone cheated on you on a random tuesday 8 months ago where you have no recollection of that day and so imagining the physical act of adultery is somewhat abstract, but quite another thing when you can remember the day of the incident and thus remember what you were doing at the time. She can probably remember talking to Tiger that night and now she knows that while she was talking to him he had some bimbo laying next to him or whatever.

In the abstract I agree that a moment like that would be particularly hurtful, but not for the reasons Norton is saying. Whether she can remember the specifics of a time when he was cheating shoudln't mean nearly as much as the fact that it's days like that when you would feel the closest bond to the one you're married to. When you find out that even at a moment as damaging to one's psyche as a parent dying, he was busy worrying about what ass he'd nail next; you realize there was never an emotional attachment there, and you were just another hole for him.

Yikes. I hadn't heard about that. Sounds like that 7 iron was just a warning shot.

A Cougar taught Tiger everything he knows

Here's the cougar who claims she taught Tiger how to be an animal in bed.

Theresa Rogers, 48, is the latest of the 14 women who have come forward with steamy accounts of sex romps with Tiger Woods -- but her claim to fame is that she taught the 33-year-old golf great everything he knows in the sack.

"She just wanted to be the woman who schooled Tiger in the bedroom," a pal reportedly said of the much older woman.

There have been numerous reports that Woods had paid some of the women -- including Rogers -- hush money as he struggled to save his marriage when tales of his infidelities emerged.

Friends of Rogers say Woods told her he married Swedish beauty Elin Nordegren only for the publicity, because he thought it was good for his image, RadarOnline.com reported.

Apparently, Rogers' bedroom lessons have worked.

Among the evidence of his trysts was a series of titillating texts Tiger exchanged, including one in which he promised a babe to "wear you out" when they met for a secret rendezvous.

This divorce news is great.

The sooner Tiger gets back to golf the better. He's got a ton of of [expletive]-talking punks to school and it's going to be epic.

I can't believe this is true but here the latest Tiger gossip.

Was Tiger Woods partying in Palm Beach?

That's what sources tell ET, and Woods wasn't alone. Rumors that Tiger and reported mistress No. 1 Rachel Uchitel were spotted holding hands and mingling with about three hundred other partygoers Sunday night inside a private mansion in Palm Beach, Florida.

There is also this.

Two US professors have pinned the loss to shareholders from Tiger Woods' marital infidelity at up to $US12 billion

I noticed big Tiger/Accenture ads in Newark the day after they decided to dump him, last night I noticed a giant mural of Tiger/Accenture and I'm thinking Accenture is getting more bang for their buck now than they ever did before.

I really think these sponsors are really dropping the ball by dropping Tiger. It makes sense to not put out ads at the moment with him in them, but this is going to blow over. Sure, we'll all joke about Tiger's "infidelities", but he's still going to kick some ass on the golf course, and people are still going to buy things with his image on them. I think dropping him is a short sighted overreaction.

They aren't all dropping him. Accenture is basically a bunch of dudes who travel around consulting other businesses, ie. filthy buggers who go from port to port. Cutting ties with Tiger might just be a large scale example of husbands showing their wives that they disapprove of his behavior to cover their own ass. Plus, they are still getting mileage out of the signage, and Tiger isn't going to be golfing for a while. And it was questionable how much value they had tied up in him to begin with. Those that will still benefit, like Nike, are sticking with him. And with advertising budgets being cut left and right, it's an easy mark.

AT&T just dropped him.

I didn't either but I saw on tv this morning that AT&T is the main sponsor for one of his golf tournaments.

Apparently they will remain the tournament sponsor.

The article says he had AT&T on his bag.

that's too bad... that phone message he left one of his bimbos was already out. i think there could have been plenty of promotional activities centered around his infidelity... like AT&T is a great company to use if you're cheating on your wife and don't want her to know.

Maybe they'll sign Elin to a deal...have her using the new "spouse tracking" feature on the AT&T family plan.
