I have to say this is hilarious. No one seemed to care about the BS roughing the passer call on Iowa or the BS holding call that negated a TD. But one questionable call in Iowa's favor and you all jump on the refs.

how do you all feel about the refs not reviewing that one? I assume you're all pissed at the injustice.

I didn't see the roughing call or hold, but if a ball carrier can draw a personal foul by lowering his helmet and charging a defender we might as well cancel the sport

they've been calling questionable hits when the defender lowers his head all season. it's not like this is a new thing that they just did this game. doesn't really matter if you agree with the overall rule, it's been strictly applied this year.

I didn't see the other calls but that's just pathetic. They weren't even protecting a quarterback on that hit.

This wasn't about the defender, it was about the ... offender. The defender's only options there were to be penalized, to be speared, or to run away from the ball carrier. Maybe you've seen that called a lot this season, I haven't (although I'm not a big college football fan, so you're more likely to have seen it be called if it is).

It's either a terrible, horrible, no good very bad call or a rule written by a madman.

holy cross is struggling with lehigh.... lafayette-colgate is a big game with those teams each among the top 3 in the PL. so far we have beaten colgate and play lafayette next week. hopefully we can beat lehigh and lafayette and then finish off an undefeated PL campaign with me in attendance at bucknell in 2 weeks.

Everyone who wanted to see Iowa play an SEC team is going to get their chance now. I don't see how they don't end up in the Cap-One bowl or the Outback.

they're losing by 4 points to northwestern at home.

With no QB. I don't see how a freshman from Keokuk is going to do anything.

we might get a home game in the i-aa playoffs if we win out.

I just looked at my alma mater's football record, and they've had something like 11 winning seasons since the beginning of WWI. The last winning season happened around the time I was learning to walk. They play in possibly the weakest conference in college football (NESCAC) and every year they schedule the two other worst teams in the conference.

serious question - how many teams make the i-aa playoffs? 32?

16 but I believe it's expanding to 20 next year.

Oh please let it be the Outback.

michigan's defense is really awful. they've given up 400+ yards and there are still 20 minutes left in the game. if michigan loses they're unlikely to go to a bowl.

minnesota is laying a complete egg against illinois, but they have s.d. state next week, so they should get to bowl eligible even if they lose today.

Michigan is starting 2 walk-on players on defense. That's how bad it's been this season. The line is pretty decent, but the LB and DB play is atrocious. They can't stop anyone.

12 teams, I'd guess. Four first round games - probably to play the four seeded teams - drops the number to 16 and then it goes on just like this year.
