I never said I didn't get worked up over sports. People assume too much.

I've known way more people who get more worked up about politics then sports (most of the time those people don't know what the hell they are talking about. Kind of like most people who get worked up about sports.)

Nothing like threatening to cut player salaries by a third of what they currently are.

 

How is David Stern going to have a job if there's another lockout in the offseason? Two lockouts in 12 years is ridiculous.

It seems to me he is just saying that to make the other option of having a salary cap and less-guaranteed contracts with "modest performance options" more palatable. Sell them on not losing as much in salary % and how they will make more money once revenues increase.
