Yeah, on an appeal. And of course he didn't leave early. This umping is pathetic....then again the inning continued because of a botched call so why not?

Ump caught out of position, but the net result is a makeup call.

Wanda Sykes has "Lopez Tonight" looking better all the time.

Wasn't it Jason Stark who said ARod was the least valuable player in baseball because of his contract? Good call Jason.

If he played for the Royals maybe.

Kinda, although he would sell enough tickets that maybe it would be worth it.

How the [expletive] do you miss that and why don't you ask one of the other five umpires on the field if they saw anything?

And another blown call!

Wow.

This is, without any doubt, THE worst umpired postseason game I have ever personally witnessed. Bud Selig has got to do something because those umpires are laughingstocks right now.

The umpires in this game have been horrible no question about it. While they got the Swisher play wrong, I am guess that they know that they have been screwing up all game on the Angels so they felt that they had to give 1 back to the Angels. But it's a little late helping the Yanks put up 5 runs. Thanks Umpires.

Can Fox baseball possibly get any worse?

Not only do we have to endure Buck and McCarver and the Yankee worship for another Oct but now....as the Yankee runs are piling on in the 9th, the camera cuts to a little girl Angels fan in the stands bawling her eyes out. That's bush league. Have some decency.

Give me a break with the drama already. How low can the producers at Fox Sports get?

She's destined to forever be a screencap used the next time the Yanks play the Angels.

Yeah. I can pretty much bet the mortgage that we'll be seeing that on the pregame show in game 5, and in the next Yankee game, and the next, and the next........

They prolonged inning after inning which gave the Yanks there shots time and time again to just hit. That's how they helped the Yanks put up the runs.

The Umpire came out and admitted to only 2 blow calls: Swisher, the Double play at 3rd. But there were still 3 other plays that he missed to: 2 plays at home and the pick off play at 2nd base and all of which you were able to see clear as day that they were missed. How does Tim McClelland look at the reply after the game and only admit to those plays. When even Fox was pointing out the miss calls and going as far as slow mo or freeze shots.

East Coast Bias is starting to show signs of life.

None of the critical blown calls in this game "gave" the Yankees any runs and in fact actually deprived them of runs.

Your declaration of additional blown calls is a bit of a stretch, to say the least. What plays at home are you saying were called wrong?

East Coast bias? This isn't college football.
