I wish Rich had gotten pissy with Forcier and put Denard Robinson in against us. Michigan's collapse would've begun much sooner.

Collapse? They were supposed to win around 7 games this season and still are on that pace.

Typical. They were supposed to lose this game, and lost. It was close, yet they had a chance on the last possession.

Holy crap that Zona/UW game got nutty at the end. Arizona was up 33-21 with 4 minutes left, UW drove it down to pull to 33-28 and then turned a pick 6 on the next possession into a 36-33 win.

Thank God we won. Thought Iowa was going to blow it at the end.

The rushing the field was kind of stupid but Iowa fans pretty much rush the field all the time. Especially when they win on homecoming.

I don't think he's even going to get a chance to be the worst QB in the NFL.

You're right. As long as JaMarcus Russell is in the NFL, he's got that spot locked down.

hey when you have a foot to go for first down maybe you should start the quarterback under center instead of 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

tebow has no idea how to receive a snap from under center

The center is probably afraid Tim would try to circumcise him

i kind of have adopted teams in most of the conferences:

big ten: penn st (went there)

acc: ga tech (liked paul johnson at navy; offense is fun)

sec: auburn (friend swam there several years ago)

big xii: kansas (mangino!)

big east: they kind of all suck, i guess rutgers since i'm from nj and my dad teaches there (got fed up with bandwagon rutgers fans when they got good, though)

pac 10: can't say i care right now... do like stanford and oregon st a little; wazzu is fun to root for because they're so bad.

This was a huge win for Tennessee as it sets us up to only need to beat Memphis, Vandy and Kentucky to be bowl eligible. If Crompton continues to play like he did today, though, we could compete with Alabama and beat South Carolina. I'm not ready to really consider that, though.

I'm not taking shots at you dew, but I would concentrate on beating Memphis, Vandy and Kentucky, cause I seriously doubt Crompton will look good against Bama. I mean if Mallet and Snead looked horrible against Bama, I think Crompton might actually get killed in two weeks.

And I agree with you, Crompton needed this game badly (and if this season doesn't get Richt canned, I don't know what will) and I happy for him, and the fact that his father didn't get thrown out of a game, for once. Good game for you guys, as I was quite surprise that Georgia looked HORRIBLE.

Is Zook legitimately in trouble with administration or will they give him another year? And why do people keep claiming that the next coach will inherit this wealth of talent? Their last four classes were ranked 35th last year, 23rd, 20th and 31st. Good but nothing outstanding. Especially when the next coach won't have some of the highest rated guys in those groups.

I'm pissed at myself for buying into all of the Snead hype when I only saw him play once or twice last year. He's a poor man's Josh Freeman, if that.

That was the worst our o-line and d-line have looked all year. Michigan deserves credit for that, they beat us up in the trenches. Thankfully we got some lucky breaks with turnovers.

Stanzi looks so good at times. Feels the pressure and has good mobility. Doesn't get rattled or lose composure. Makes NFL throws when he's dropping 30-40 yard passes exactly where they have to be. Then he has like three straight throws sail on him that could be picks. Haven't seen it on tv yet but the pick-6 had to have been a timing route where there was miscommunication.

Rotated guards last night and they have to get some continuity and improvement on the o-line to beat Wisconsin. A little worried about the way Michigan went I-formation and just pounded it down our throats up the middle on that one drive. Wouldn't be surprised with 2-0 or 0-2 the next two weeks.

Rushing the field was stupid but it's funny how upset people get about it. It was (mostly) drunk college kids who were drinking for 10 hours after a close win on homecoming weekend against Michigan.

Yeah, that bum should be on his way out. How dare he win 8-13-11-10-10-9-11-10 games so far in his eight seasons as coach. That 85-25 overall mark, including 48-20 in the SEC and 6-2 in bowls, warrants a pink slip.

Bama jumps to No. 2 as they should. And Notre Dame gains 66 votes without playing after losing 32 on a 3-game winning streak. Most likely cause: The media wanting a game between two ranked teams next week.

Arkansas is 32nd in both polls, haha. Also, I knew Joe Adams, Arkansas's leading receiver, was held out of the game this weekend, but didn't know why. Now that I do know, I'm kind of flabbergasted...a mild stroke? Edited by Warpticon

I didn't say he should be fired, but locals in GA are definately getting restless abour Richt and his stubborn loyalties to Willie Martinez and Mike Bobo.

Like I said, I'm not expecting much from this team going forward, but after how impressive Crompton looked Saturday, who knows? I'm still figuring we'll finish 7-5 with wins over SC, Memphis, Vandy and Kentucky to close out the year.
