AP (obvious)

Jones - Indy's run D is still suspect (even after last night) and Seattle will have to run to try to keep Manning off the field.

Sproles - Yes, Pitt has a good run D but Benson ran for 4.8 YPC (76 yds) and a TD. I like Sproles more than Benson.

Portis is walking wounded and Lynch will be splitting time because it's his first game and Jackson has played well.

Of course it's Monday so things can change depending on Tomlinson's injury status and other injuries throughout the week...

I thought I was going to have to choose between Warner and Cutler next week, until I looked and realized Warner has a bye.

Let's do this, Jake.

But also, on that note, Hines Ward or Hester?

And Freeney's status is up in the air. That won't help the Colts' D any if he can't play.

Frank Gore is one of my two big name running back, since he looks like he's going to be out at least this week I have a decision to make.

Glen Coffee v. St. Louis

Willie Parker v. San Diego

Ahmad Bradshaw at Kansas City

If Gore is actually out I like Coffee and then Bradshaw.

I think Ward is the safe pick and Hester is the boom/bust pick. If you've got a solid team and can take a bust risk, I would start Hester. We all know what he can do with the ball in his hands.

I've got my mind made up everywhere but WR this week.

Need 2 of these:

Percy Harvin vs. GB

Santana Moss vs. TB

Johnny Knox vs. DET

Eddie Royal vs. DAL

I'm leaning Moss/Knox. I think the GB/Vikings game is going to be a close, low scoring affair or I would be starting Harvin. Royal is my least favorite, but he's due to break out eventually, right?

if you don't start Hester this week, there's no reason in owning him at all

Brady vs. Bal

Palmer @ Cle

and

Grant @ Min

McFadden @ Hou

Palmer and Grant.

At least Grant may get some goal line carries and a TD. I traded McFadden because Oakland's offense is just terrible. Goal line carries have been going to Bush anyway and Oakland is going to have to at least try to throw the ball with Houston likely ringing up TDs.

I'm starting Cutler over Brady in my ESPN league. I was happy to get Brady on draft day but it's been downhill since. He'll improve and won't be playing Baltimore every week so he'll remain my regular starter, but not this week. Palmer's matchup against Cleveland is better.

Need one:

Benson @ Cle

Slaton vs Oak

Jackson or Lynch @ Mia

I don't think either of the Buffalo pair, but I'm undecided on the other two. They're both playing terrible teams.

I would agree with you. Moss had a big week last week and Knox has shown some talent. I might usually say Harvin but Detroits defense is bad enough compared to GB that I'd take Knox this week.

Moss and Harvin. Harvin will be the fastest guy on the field against a D sporting two ancient/slow CBs. Look for Brett to swing it out to Harvin a lot and let him pick up YAC on Monday. The Bears should be doing a lot of work on the ground game this week. And I wouldn't put Royal in until he does something at this point.

And I assume return yards are not a stat otherwise you wouldn't have asked the question.

I've been riding the Benson train for the last 2 weeks - even against Pittsburgh. He's produced so I'm going to keep him in against the terrible Cleveland Run D. I would go Benson personally, but Slaton is due for a big day as well.

Yeah, return yards don't count (but TDs do). Good point about the Bears trying to work on the running game this week. Also, I wasn't thinking about the Minny game being on turf either which will magnify Harvin's speed.

Flex play: Darren McFadden vs. HOU or Ray Rice vs. NE? I don't want to start McFadden after last week, but that matchup just seems too good to pass up.

Yeah, you can't pass up McFadden this week.

I looked at my running back options, and I'm wavering a bit. I play 2:

Jacobs @ KC

Chris Johnson @ JAX

Cedric Benson vs. CLE

I'm wavering about Johnson, thinking of putting Benson in given that matchup. Am I crazy?

Benson is the highest rated player at any position for ESPN this week, for what that's worth.

Ok, another possibility popped up for me.

JaMarcus Russel @ HOU

Derek Anderson vs. CIN

Yes, I know both are terrible options but I'm in a deep 2 QB league and Kurt Warner has his bye this week. The only other option would be Seneca Wallace if he starts this week or Josh Johnson for TB. There are no other starting QBs in our FA pool.

On a side note, I have CIN's D so adding Anderson might be counter productive - but QBs are king in our league as TDs are 6 points for them.

Matt Schaub is my other QB.

The Benson matchup is great, but Johnson is so much of the Titans' offense - and he's so incredibly explosive - that he's basically an auto start for me. He's likely to have a good day (12-13 points) on one play.

Would you make this trade. I trade DeAngelo Williams, and receive Desean Jackson? Im pretty deep at WR already with Andre Johnson, Vincent Jackson, Cotchery, Knox, and Hester. My RB's Im kind of thin with Williams, Cadilac, Lynch, and Donnie Brown.

Im thinking about doing it as whatever I lack in RB's, my recievers would be real good. Oh and its a 2WR, 2RB, 1Flex type of league.

that doesn't make much sense, Williams is the much better player of the two

So far this year Jackson has been worth more points, and Carolinas offensive suckitude scares me that Williams isnt going to have the year he had last year. Add in Jacksons punt returning skills also, and I dont see Williams as the much better player of the two.
