I'm really looking forward to this game.....the rainout was a blessing as it turns out. Sox were playing OK back then and now in a fatal season ending swoon must face a Cub team on the rise.

Losing today is simply not to be tolerated.

Man, how can you be so optimistic?

I guess since you're "part Cards fan"

Why does Soriano continue to play?

With Fox at 1B, who would you prefer to play LF? I don't have a problem with Soriano playing today, especially considering I am anti-Fuld.

what the [expletive]. did they just get some random clown off the street to sing the national anthem? that guy was awful.

But, he sang the free part for a good five minutes. WGN news highlighted Carly Patterson. She too was awful.

that was pretty awesome

what happened? I couldn't tell from Gameday.

Hit to Dempster, Pods ran to third and was caught in a pickle. Ramirez tagged him out then continued running to first because Beckham had decided to sit between first and second. Double pickle double play

Hard grounder up the middle knocked down by Dempster. He threw it over to Aramis at third, who ran down Podsednik and tagged him out. As he was chasing Pods he saw Beckham kinda going towards second, so Aramis cut across the field and got Beckham in a run down, where he was eventually tagged out.

ah thanks, for some reason I thought Pods was on third before the pitch.
