If they run the table they probably make it over a 1 loss Big XII champion. Not sure if they make it over a 1 loss SEC team, probably would if the other team is undefeated and FSU and OU bounce back after Ls to them. They're in a better position than any non BCS team before, that's for sure.

 

If Bradford is out, that Tulsa game could be interesting.

After what Utah did last year there'd be a groundswell of support if there aren't two undefeated teams from BCS conferences. TCU and Utah need to have strong seasons for BYU and it'd help if someone like Air Force turned in a good year.

The most deserving team doesn't always make the title game in this system. They have to impress the voters and hope there are no other unbeaten major conference teams (or at least, not more than one).

 

An unbeaten BYU would have the resume, but would they get the opportunity? That's where they need chaos at the top.
