I listened to part of the Cardinals' rain delay broadcast on XM Radio on the way home from Wrigley and their announcers talked like they are the best team ever assembled... but the way they are playing, just maybe they are.

That's very true, except that both teams have very similar schedules the rest of the way and the Cardinals now have a 5 game lead. That's going to be very tough to overcome, short of us sweeping them in September.

I can't believe Heath Bell just blew this save and gave up a walk off to Colby Rasmus. You can bet your bottom dollar that if he gets a save chance against us, he's going to strike out the side. This is getting really aggravating watching them come back in the 9th inning time after time. The Dodgers better not lay down this week. The Cards don't play many more challenging games, and they need to start losing the ones they do play.
