I guess I'm just a buzzkill. It pisses me off to see them doing this well after looking so pathetic against the Phillies. It's like they are trying to say that there is this huge of a gap between the 2 teams and there's not. Also, I fully expect to see 3 runs scored the rest of the series.

We get the Pirates and Padres over the next few days along with a long string of other teams under .500 for the next month. If the Cubs can take care of them (especially the Mets), we'll be in the race until the end.

 

Remember, the Tigers and White Sox destroyed us before we got the play the Pirates last time. The Cubs clawed their way back up to first place after that particular low point of the season.
