Wow, bob with a little bit of snark regarding soriano. yikes.

Bob being Bob.

I don't have any problem with it. Soriano has no idea how to hustle and should be called out for it.

The problem I have with it is he was the only guy to come through in the inning. Ramirez looked like a rookie in his first big league at bat and Soto couldn't make contact either. While Soriano might not have hustled, he did drive in a run which is more than we can say for anyone else in the line-up tonight. What would they have said if he would have been thrown out trying to get to second?

He's being paid a zillion dollars and has a .760 OPS. Who cares if he came through one time.

Bob was ripping him last year when he had a much better OPS.

Bob likes to believe that all the squeeze bunts and hit and runs he called with the DBacks were the reason they won the Series. I hate to say it, but he's becoming a douchebag.

Bob's an idiot for the most part. I don't agree with half the crap he says. I do think Soriano has become more lackadaisical.

You mean you actually think they won because of something else? I bet you prolly think it was the Unit and Schilling.

I guess 4 innings and only a 2 run homer wasn't too bad for #29. Now the offense needs to get something started again. How about a 5 run inning...

lazy is lazy regardless of performance. Soriano has done more than enough this year to justify Bob's response even if it doesn't necessarily apply to that particular play.

How can you guys be criticizing Bob for pointing out Soriano's non-hustle? You're OK with him being lazy and dogging it on every hit?

You're acting like he freaking crawled on his hands and knees to first base. No, he wasnt busting his hump but he wasnt walking either. He was jogging at the same pace that most other players jog at when they hit what looks like a probable out. Could he have run harder? Yes. But there's also a good chance he would have been thrown out at second - that ball wasn't hit all that deep.

Bob has went out of his way to attack both Soriano and Milton all year. Yet does whatever it takes to defend Theriot and Fontenot. It's beyond ridiculous.

I know it's annoying to watch a player make a lazy play, mostly because it's something that we can do on the field, but in the long run does it matter that much?
