I know I should be used to this, but will someone please explain to me how the hell Joel Pineiro has a 2.86 ERA? I don't think I've ever seen a pitcher have a k rate lower than 4.5 per 9 have anywhere near this success.

Its really not funny anymore. They have 3 starters with ERAs under 3.00. This shouldnt be hapening. Carpenter, as long as hes healthy doesnt surprise me, but Wainwright should be at bout 3.30 and Pineiro at about 4.45.
