I get the feeling its going to all come back to that 9th inning.

One way or another, it will... Even if the Cubs end up winning this game, these are extra innings that will continue to wear down the bullpen in a long stretch of games with very few off days.

Wow, Stevens must be pretty damned good if pitch number 2 was deemed "unknown" on Gameday....

Doesn't matter. Carlos Lee is much, much, much more dangerous.

Didn't we lose a game in Houston earlier this year by walking Lee and pitching to Blum?

 

If Blum beats us, he beats us, but he should have to do it rather than Carlos Lee.
