he's underrated by people outside philly and overrated by people there. you're right though, he's very good - can hit enough to play corner OF but plays an above-average CF, great baserunner, gets on base at around a .350 clip and will chip in about 30 doubles, 8 triples and 12 homers a year. he really works hard and is a good clubhouse guy and a fan favorite who gets the most out of his ability. really not one of the greats of the game, but very good all-around ballplayer.

he needs to throw high 90s to get by... his slider really inconsistent and his fastball is farnsworth-straight. if he's having trouble locating his fastball and is sitting low to mid 90s he's going to get shelled.
