His first year or two he tried way too hard to be like Harry. Once he settled into a groove, he was actually quite tolerable. Chip and Steve were just a hair below Harry and Steve.

 

Joe Carter was a sin against baseball, though. Good gravy.

i liked steve albert's "gets the bat on it" call. nothing builds the excitement more than a phrase that could describe a dribbler to the pitcher or a 480 foot bomb.
