I hear ya on that Juan. My dad's dad had 6 kids. Plenty to keep the family name going, right? Better still, he had 4 boys and 2 girls. Both of the daughters spit out 4 kids each, and the ratio was the same with 3 boys and 1 girl each. Problem is, all those kids have different last names. On to the 4 boys. The youngest one had 3 daughters. The next oldest one didn't have kids. The next oldest son had one boy. My dad had me and 2 girls. It was down to me and the other boy to keep the family name going. I didn't have kids and I most likely won't now since I'm 45.

 

The other boy just had a little boy, but the mother had to be impregnated in vitro in order to have a kid in the first place. The pressure is off me, but that poor newborn has even more pressure than I did.

After just coming back from Spain, I think we realize that traveling is too much fun for us to have a child just yet...

Sarah Nichole has been officially entered in the birth certificate. You are right about the sleep Adam but its so worth it.

 

Brian - I have three sisters. They have 6 kids between them, 2 boys. I have two girls so its 6-2 in the next generation. Meanwhile, my dad has two sisters, no brothers and my mom has 7 sisters and 2 brothers.

My mother has 2 boys, 2 girls. My brother has 2 boys, 2 girls. One sister has a boy. One sister has a girl. So, my mother has 3 and 3 grandkids (4 and 4 if you count my stepkids). My dad was also a product of a 2/2 family. My son will offset the balance.
