We cannot actually be about to lose 2-1 again to these guys.

With this year's Cubs team, there's no other realistic possiblity

The only other possibilities involve losing 3-1, 4-1, 5-1, 6-1, etc...

Hopefully we can have a shut down inning here so we can at least have a fake rally.

I think the fake rally ends when we get the bases loaded no outs, someone hits a single but the guy on third trips and breaks his ankle running home, getting tagged out, then Yunel Escobar robs a home run, then Chipper Jones dives 20 rows in to catch a foul ball. Cubs lose.

That'd be the most badass way to lose.

Every time they play well enough to get you thinking, "maybe they are about to click", they pull this crap that they have the last two games. So apparently the Nationals are good enough to beat the Braves, but not the Cubs.

Ram-bomb in the 9th

I'm calling it first - If Lee gets on it's the game winner

Unfortunately it's 2009 so they will both walk and then we'll have a K and a DP.

yeah, that probably wont happen, but I could see a walk, a single, runner to 3rd then a strikeout and a double play. cue Lou:"blah blah, blah, changes, changes, changes"

Well, last year's Cubs couldn't beat the Nationals, so....
