Maybe we as a board should collectively start calling other players washed up so that they get better.

Mike Fontenot, you are so washed up.

As are Kosuke Fukudome, Aaron Miles, Andres Blanco, and Koyie Hill. Wow, its depressing that I have to list Kosuke with that heap of racoon feces.

Your continued hatred (or whatever it is) of Blanco is baffling. He's a cheap backup, same as Hill. I'm not sure what you expect out of such players.

I do like that we have a pretty deep bench for late in the game w/ Soto, Johnson, Fox, and Hoff. And In think theres another guy on there, but I cant think of his name, so he doesnt count. Hopefully, hes not the first off the bench.

lee's resurgence has coincided with my belated signature picture change (From an old old Cedeno picture) so yeah you can thank me for that

Yeah isn't that weird that we timed our offense coming back to life with the starting pitching slipping a bit?

convince yourself that we do it on purpose

makes you feel better about the whole thing

Wow, Fukudome got lucky there getting into second.

By the way, his swing is really quick through the zone on the replay. Heh.

Correct, Blanco is a cheap backup with a great glove and a nice guy to start once in a while, but right now hes a starter due due Aaron Miles suctitude, and thats what I dont like.

What a difference 2 days makes. 2 days ago, I'd see Fuk's leadoff double and think "who cares its not going to score anyways", and now I'm thinking, ok Koyie, take one up the middle and get the run home. Because I actually believe that he can.

He's starting because Aramis is hurt.

We are obviously trying to get more battle tested by playing as many close games as possible so that once the playoffs come around, we'll be ready. Of course, there is the chance that we don't make the playoffs because of this failed strategy but whatever.

That would have been a great time to use a suicide squeeze with a really good bunter, a quick runner on 3rd and ahead in the count. Oh well, Lou doesn't know that a squeeze exists.

Why rest Soto right as he was starting to come around?

Catchers need more days off, plus it's an early game after yesterday's, where it was brutally hot.
