With the way he's been hitting, will we even be able to tell the difference?

A Hoffpauir/Fox platoon would def produce more compared to how Bradley has been this season.

i knew he was fragile but come on, he was never this bad.

Well, this is the Cubs we're talking about. We all know any injury concerns become magnified by about 50x when you join the Cubs.

What the hell happened ??

Bradley hit a ground ball and immediately grabbed for the back of his right leg. He jogged down the line and then tried to stretch it out in between innings at first base.

He then is still in the game..we'll see how he is when a ball comes his way.

Bradley swung, and grabbed at his back leg before leaving the batter's box. Then continued stretching at first base after being doubled off by 40 feet.

Do you seriously buy into this "only the Cubs" garbage that you spout basically every game?

:(

i think there was like 1 person on this board who wasn't completely against the idea of signing ibanez.

It was me and that person. Aside from Dunn who I didn't consider realistic, I wanted Ibanez. Now I'm not going to pretend I thought he'd do what he's doing in Philly, but I figured he was a safe bet for a 120ish OPS+ bat that would be in the lineup every day.

If he's playing injured it still doesn't excuse this because its pretty stupid and perhaps selfish to go out there and suck up and possibly worsen the injury

if he isn't then I might just be done with defending him. I was for the signing, I was a fan of it, and I've had his back for these few months. But every game is the same, he just hasn't hit the ball well. I keep hoping to see him turn the corner because he still has a good eye for the zone and seems to put some good hacks on balls but he clearly isn't all there now.
