Because my favorite team has $30 million dollars committed to an average fielding corner outfielder who has either been hurt or bad for 99% of the season this year. Oh, and he has a terrible temperment. And we gave up super-utility man DeRosa and his likely Type A free agent status so we could fit his contract on the payroll.

I'll give you that before tonight he had been looking better, but then he got hurt (again) and that is always going to be the problem with him.
