Well, now that it's over, I'll say that is was an enjoyable way to spend a Friday early evening.

 

But man, 2 runs off Owings and co? Ouch. Soriano hitting in the .230's, Fukudome about to leave the Cubs with 0 .300 hitters. This reminds me of the White Sox in 07 I think. They just never got it going until like July offensively.

Carlos Zambrano continues to be one of few consistently enjoyable players on the Cubs. I'm glad he finally got win #100. Even if he's tailing off, he's still solid, and just about the most entertaining player the Cubs have had since Sosa.
