cst_cubs: Z giving updates to reporters every time somebody goes in Lou's office today. 'Big news in the paper tomorrow.'

From everything Ive heard, last year Henry Blanco was a mentor to Soto and was the one who kept him in shape.

Well that's just weak. If he needs another player to keep him in shape and motivated, he's not going to last very long in this league.

probably something about how he's not fatter, he just has a hurt shoulder, which is of course affecting his game in every aspect

Why the hell is Zambrano throwing Soto under the bus and dishing gossip to the media?!

Yeah, I really don't have any idea what you're talking about. So, enjoy putting one over on me.

I've been seeing people call him fat all year, but personally I didn't see much weight gain at all. I kept quiet though figuring people were seeing things I wasn't.

It's a line from The Departed. It seems to me that Z was being sarcastic.

soto was gaining weight over last season, so it's nothing new. z does the same thing except he doesn't really lose it in the offseason anymore.
