take the ball to the hoop every time, paul.

Brandon Paul may not be able to guard anyone yet, but he has to play a ton of minutes. He's going to be our best player next year. At least he needs to be if we want to do anything.

He also needs to play under control, you can't have him up there jacking up terrible shots as he has at times this year.

And there's no way Paul is the best player on the team next year.

I agree, but he can't just sit him for as much as he has been lately.

Also you don't think it's possible? The only guys who I could see challenging him are DMac and Jereme.

I agree that there's been a few too many lesson teaching moments with Paul, but I'd rather be more cautious in the preconference season rather than giving him a longer leash.

With regards to next year, I think Tisdale, Davis, DMac, DJ, and Jereme are all in the conversation. Paul will be better than some of them, but I think he's got too much ground to make up on the juniors to expect him to be our best player. If he is our best player, we're in for a special season.

I think Mike Davis has regressed. Tisdale is pretty much maxed out. I really think it's either Paul, Jereme, or DMac.

I think Davis has tons of room for improvement. It's a matter of him giving it all for 40 minutes.

Tisdale is incredibly inconsistent from game to game. I don't know if it's a matter of his opponent (I think it is) or just confidence. Sulley will make fun of me for it, but I think he can be a truly great player next year. It doesn't look like he'll ever have the body to be a player at the next level, but in the college game where there are so few 7 footers let alone 7 footers with bulk, he should be able to average 15 a game with ease.
