Nice first out.

I thought for sure that Gregg was going to walk the leadoff man, as is the custom for the Cubs pen.

I just want to say that not a single damn good thing has happened since I started watching, save for a Fontenot infield single.

then, for the love of all things good and holy, stop watching!!!!

Sean Marshall is one bored man.

?

They've been showing him taking a part a baseball. He's down to the core now, and has scissors trying to cut it in half.

Not as good as Lilly and the giant moth, but you gotta keep busy.

Lilly caught a giant moth down in Arizona and was holding it in his hands for about an inning or so as he and Dempster looked like two five year olds scheming. Lilly ended up putting the bug on Gerald Perry's hat as Gerald walked around oblivious to it for a few moments.

Nice win, maybe Soto' turned the corner? Looks to me like he's going to start tearing the cover off the ball soon. As for Z, I,ve never seen such a sport were so many players get injured simply running, football players manage to play 16 games running full speed at each other. Yet, a baseball player can't even run to first base without getting hurt.

I could get used to this.

Now you see that the game threads are only dead when the CUBS are ??

True enough.

What is the Cubs record when they retire a number?

I remember Cubs lost when they retired Santos, and they lost miserably when they retired Sandberg's. What about Banks and Williams?
