Bullpen and defense are what appear to be the major weaknesses on this team thus far. The offense has been a problem, but I am not worried about that being a season long problem.

TOP OF THE SIXTH INNING

 

Guzman in to pitch for the CUBS

Baker doubled to left field

H Ramirez walked

Cantu grounded to first base , safe at first on a fielding error, E1, Baker to third, H Ramirez to second

Uggla flied out to center field , Baker scored, H Ramirez to third, Cantu to second, on a throwing error, E4

Hermida popped out to shortstop

Ross grounded out to first, 3-1

The funny thing is, as shaky as some of our relievers have been, none have been quite bad enough to outright dump and give Fox, Stevens, or Ascanio a shot. Well, aside from Cotts, and Lou needs his precious lefty.

No. I'm going to Chicago the next week, so I couldn't make two trips in back to back weeks.

Oh come on, its May 3rd and he's been back from injury for 3 weeks now. Why is Bob still excusing Soto for being in Spring Training mode?
