Nice to see Fukudome hitting again.

When did he stop hitting? He's reached base every single game that he's started except for opening day. Hes reached twice in all but three of the games he's started this season.

I think Fukubombs may be my favorite kind of bombs. Although Aramabombs have a special place in my heart as well.

Nothing tops Aramabombs for me. I think at some point I may have liked sneaky power bombs, but I'm having a hard time placing any of those in my memory.

I remember a specific one landing on Sheffield that was awesome, but I don't remember any details other than that.

Len just said Bradley is "Nowhere near 100%". Didn't they say two weeks ago it would be 3-5 days? I'm guessing it will end being about a month. And why wasn't he DLd?

Nice to see Fukudome hitting again.

He hit last April, too. I just hope he keeps it up all year.

Not like this.

KF has seem to adjusted to the style of pitching here. He's learning how to hit pitchers who predominately try to get hitters to hit the ball on the ground.

Last year he hit the ball on ground 50.6% of the time. That's what you expect from guys who beat the ball onto the ground and trying to run fast, like Fred Lewis, Michael Bourn and Willy Taveras, not someone who is expected to hit for league average or better power. The same thing happened to Hideki Matsui his first season here. His GB rate in 2003 was 54.7%. I believe he led the league in groundballs. Unsurprisingly, after the transition season Matsui became more of a nuetral GB/FB hitter like you would expect someone who has a power slanted game. Matsui's GB% dropped to 40.9% the next year, a HUGE HUGE drop. As a result he double his power output. Similarily, so far this year KF's GB% has dropped to 34.1%, which is around where Alfonso Soriano usually is. Unsurprisingly, he's been a hell of a lot more productive.
