i still can't see what they're talking about when it comes to balks. i never see anything out of the ordinary

Dude's knee twitched about a second before he threw to 1st.

How did Theriot "advance to first on the error" after the fielder's choice? I thought the rule was you couldn't assume the double play. Or is that just a saying?

 

I think it's just a saying. Gameday led by saying he grounded into a force out.
