Just saw Keenan's press conference... what an embarrassment. Can't wait til game 4 when we REALLY piss him off.

The end of the game is why I don't understand why the league and refs get praised for "just letting them play" in the playoffs. Calgary was taking cheap shot after cheap shot in the first two games, and were seeing very little repercussion. They continued that into game 3 and when the Blackhawks stepped up their chippiness, things got out of control. That may get some people all excited, but it makes the hockey boring as hell.

The Flames are using the only tactic that can win them the series. We may not like it, but it's actually good strategy.

 

And it's not like we didn't know all along that teams were going to get physical with the Hawks in the playoffs. Everyone knows the Hawks are great skaters and puck handlers, but a little light on the hitting. Keenan's been around far too long to let a potential advantage like that slide by. He's going to try to use it.
