You know who else everyone was freaking out about with bad knees and possible arthritis causing a drop?

Danny Granger

Blair is heavier than Granger and will play a position that will cause him to incur much more contact than Granger.

Again it's a long term issue, not the next 2-4 years.

He's had the knee questions for a while. Nothing has changed from when his stock was rising.

This is like the MLB Draft all over again. Everyone's a great player who is above criticism.

I miss Charles Barkley covering this event. :(

Van Gundy has been making fun of a lot of people

I'm starting to feel pretty bad for Blair now. How bad must the tests on his knees been for him to fall completely out of the first round?

he's a better risk now in the 2nd round, as it's only a guaranteed 1-year deal

Credit to Van Gundy for pointing out how well rebounding in college translates to the NBA. And Blair is only one of the best rebounders in the history of college basketball.

Lot of good value still on the board, Pistons have some options at 35.

this is insane. i cannot believe that blair is still on the board - there are a ton of teams that need a big body and a rebounder. he must have killed a prostitute last night or something.

ESPN just put up a poll for who was the biggest steal of the first round, and Hansbrough was one of the choices...

it's almost as if reinsdorf wants the bulls to be a middling, average franchise. i think he's had his fill of bulls success for some weird reason or another. he should sell his share of the team if he's going to be a gutless tyrant.

who the hell is Gar Forman?

apparently, he's the bulls' GM. i had no idea.

What happened to Pax? How did I miss this?

CHICAGO -- Gar Forman has been promoted to general manager of the Chicago Bulls, replacing John Paxson, who will remain with the team as executive vice president of basketball operations.
