I'm sitting pretty so far. Should be up by 50 after tonight with a 3-2 start advantage the rest of the way. My bats have done well, and I don't have a negative start yet (I stress yet) by a pitcher. That being said, I"d love for Wood or Rivera to get an appearance.

Jesus, Adenhart killed. Sad story.

One of my fav. pitchers that I got to see throw in the MWL. Definitely a tragic story.

I traded him hesitantly last year. I really wanted to see him succeed.

Too bad his life had to be cut so short.

wtf, a near no-hitter by carpenter and 4 hrs in 18 ab's for raw and my decent lead is now gone.

that's right! You shouldn't be surprised by Kinsler and Sizemore. Kinsler continues to hit everything. Grady is the king of HRs in blowout losses.

The tragic irony of this is that it came right after he had his best major league start last night (6 shutout innings before the bullpen choked on a 4-0 lead and lost 6-4). Today's game was understandable postponed. This brings back memories of Daryl Kile's death right before the game with the Cubs (although under different circumstances).

Saw him in Rancho a few years ago and got to talk to him for a few minutes once while he was charting pitches. Really nice kid, loved signing autographs.

I'm getting absolutely torched. Down by more than 100 points, and that's with my opponent having a 30+ point pitching start on his bench. Not an encouraging start to the season.

If I had given Scott Olsen a start this week, I'd currently have 2 points. True story. :-))

Me and Chuck are still in a good battle, I was saved by two subpar outings by Hernandez and Saunders. I'm down by 11 with one start left from Josh Johnson.

When is the right time to make roster adjustments for next week?

Sunday afternoon through Monday morning. You can adjust pitchers whenever you want.

You can also make changes for future dates by clicking on the week from the top of your team page, then clicking on the day. That can be helpful for somebody that might be travelling and without Internet access for awhile.

Josh Johnson has saved me this week.

He was awesome today spotting that fastball. Fun to watch Josh and Johan carving the other lineup up. I gotta tell you though, Cameron Maybin looks like a bust waiting to happen to me.
