Chuck.. you're up!

I'm gonna take Dye. Figured I would just post it rather than PM.

Bye Bye Jermaine.. It was fun having you last year!

Hopefully he still has something left in the tank.

My picks have been sent in, in case I'm gone.

Tim, don't dispute my man love for Daniel Cabrera.

lol - not disputing anything. I was just pointing out the O's willingness to live with a wild man in the rotation.

They could set a record for walks if they put both Hill and Liz in the rotation, though.

Fwiw, Cabrera is more talented than Hill. That would be fun to watch them on back to back days.

It could be even more fun watching them pitch on the same day since they no longer play on the same team. Daniel Cabrera is a Washington Nat.

Yep, which is why I said "that would be" instead of "it will be".

They really need to fix the draft room. As more and more players come off the board, it's going to get very difficult determining who has been picked and who is actually available to be picked.

I've been writing them down, but it's impossible to chart who needs what at this point.

I have one need that I'm hoping and praying I can still somehow fill decently at 32, and another need that I've all but given up on filling decently, hoping I can find a diamond in the rough later.

UK - You're up!

I don't see TA around, so Tampa takes Ryan Doumit.

EDIT: No, I didn't make that up, he sent it to me.

damn it, i wanted doumit.

I had a hard time deciding whether doumit + what I gave up would have been better than Martin. Then I figured that Doumit wouldn't last until where I wanted to draft him, anyway.

I figured it was worth the risk, espec. with Martin's exemption clock running out and i don't see much of a drop-off in production.

so what's the deal with in-draft trades? allowed? what do they have to include?

tim's not going to like this, but i don't see how his in-draft trade of martin is any different than him just getting to keep 11 guys. the trade didn't involve anyone that had been drafted...what's the difference between that trade and him doing that trade prior to the roster deadline?

I gave up the #22 pick in the draft, my 9th rounder, a top prospect and my first pick in the prospect draft. How the hell is that the same as me just being able to keep him as an 11th guy and still having all those other things, as well?

btw - Juan said that we can trade picks as long as they are worked out before the pick is on the clock.

Since we are not selecting prospects, I asked Juan if I could trade one of this year's draft picks for one of next year's. He said OK.
